OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Crews have removed a key pathway to get to Heartland of America Park from the Gene Leahy Mall.
The old pedestrian bridge at the corner of 8th and Douglas came down Friday, all part of the new riverfront development.
On August 5, 8th St in the area will close until the Gene Leahy Mall renovation wraps up in 2021.
