LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — A crash Monday evening near Milford, NE claimed the lives of two people on I-80 near mile marker 381.
Nebraska State Patrol says a Jeep Grand Cherokee was driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes when it came over a hill and hit a Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado struck a semi going westbound, disabling the semi.
Both drivers of the Grand Cherokee and the Silverado were pronounced dead at the scene. Those drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles.
The semi driver was not injured.
Nebraska State Patrol continues investigating the crash with help from Seward Police and the Seward County Sheriff's Office.
Identification of the victims are being withheld pending next of kin notification.
