OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A popular trail in West Omaha is getting a floating trail.
Standing Bear Lake off 144th St. near Fort St. will have an 8- foot wide, 975-foot long floating trail to make the walking and bike path a complete loop.
Anonymous donors will help fund the project, which is expected to be complete by the end of the summer.

Very exciting news! Permissions have been granted to proceed with a 1000 ft long 8 ft wide floating trail, like the photo below, that will complete the loop around Standing Bear Lake, avoiding use of the street. The City of Omaha is grateful to have wonderful donors!🤩 @PapioNRD
