LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Monday morning, Gov. Ricketts saddled up with UNL Rodeo Association members for a ride outside of the Capitol to proclaim Rodeo Week in Nebraska.
Before joining the rodeo team members, Gov. Ricketts signed and read a proclamation from horseback at his residence declaring Rodeo Week for April 21-27, 2019.
The Rodeo Association will host the 61st Annual UNL Rodeo on April 26 and 27. The rodeo will be held at the Lancaster County Event Center.
