CARTER LAKE, Iowa. (KMTV) — Omaha police identified the victim pulled from Carter Lake on Sunday as James Climer, 53. Police believe the body was that of a homeless man.
Officers responded to the area around 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon to assist the Omaha Fire Department with a water rescue call.
Upon arrival, the Omaha Fire Department spotted the man about 10 feet from the bank and recovered his body.
