OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Are you among the 147 million Americans whose credit data was compromised in the 2017 Equifax data breach? If so, you could be eligible for some money back.
Recently, Equifax reached a $700 million settlement over the largest data breach in history.
The commission's online claims process says those whose personal information was exposed can get free credit monitoring for a decade.
If you already have that service, you can instead choose to receive $125.
All claims must be filed by January 22.
