POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa. (KMTV) — A 68-year-old Omaha man was killed Saturday evening after losing control of his motorcycle.

Pottawattamie County deputies responded to Old Lincoln Hwy near the Teal Lane intersection for a motorcycle accident around 6 p.m.

Deputies located the driver, Paul Lund, who had serious injuries. Lund was transported by helicopter to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Investigation shows Lund was heading southbound on Old Lincoln Hwy on a 2003 Indian motorcycle. Lund was the only rider.

Near the Teal Lane intersection, Lund lost control of his motorcycle, the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office says.
