Omaha Police investigate robbery, cutting

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police responded to a robbery at White Oak gas station and a cutting on N. 30th St Friday.

Officers were called to White Oak gas station at 720 N. 108th St at 7:54 p.m. where witnesses said a male entered the store and demanded money but didn't display a weapon.

After receiving an undetermined amount of money, police say he fled in a vehicle.

The suspect was driving a newer model KIA Sorento with no plates. He's described as a white male, 200 lbs, wearing all camouflage, black shoes, gloves and a black mask.

Officers responded to 4602 N. 30th St for a cutting at 12:44 p.m. Friday.

Upon arrival, two victims were located with non-life threatening injuries and transported to the Nebraska Medical Center.

The suspect, identified as Devon Smith, 47, was still on location and taken into custody. Smith was booked into Douglas County Corrections for two counts of 2nd degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
