OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday morning at the Creighton Federal Credit Union.
Officers responded to the scene at 2575 Dodge St at 9:15 a.m.
Investigators determined a black male entered the bank, said there was a bomb outside and demanded money.
The suspect received money and fled, then was located in Council Bluffs.
Investigation into the robbery is ongoing and charges are pending.
UPDATE - TUESDAY 7/16/19
The Omaha Police Department says a suspect is in custody after he was stopped by the Council Bluffs Police Department.
They say 39-year-old Michael Hymes was booked in Council Bluffs as a fugitive from justice and will be extradited back to Omaha to face robbery charges.
