Omaha Police respond to shooting Monday afternoon

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Officers responded to reports of a shooting Monday afternoon.

At 2:05 p.m., Omaha Police officers responded to 563 S. 26th Ave. While at the scene, the female victim, 18-year-old Valana Dawson, walked into Creighton University Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Omaha Police detectives located the suspect, 22-year-old Azzari Passmore, and booked her into Douglas County Corrections for 2nd degree assault, DV terroristic threats and two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony.
