Omaha Police respond to two robberies overnight Saturday

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Suspects fled after robbing a Kwik Shop and a Bucky's Gas Station overnight Saturday.

At 2:15 a.m., officers responded to the Kwik Shop at 4855 L St. for a robbery.

Witnesses said a male suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect, described as a black or Hispanic male wearing a surgical mask, received an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.

Officers responded to the Bucky's gas station at 6003 Center St. for a robbery at 1:01 a.m.

A male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register, according to witnesses.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20's wearing a white hoodie, dark jeans, white tennis shoes and black gloves.

He received an undetermined amount of money and fled in a silver sedan that was waiting at the scene.
