OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A 24-year-old died early Sunday and another remains hospitalized following a shooting near 32nd and Seward St.
Officers on patrol in the area of 33rd and Seward St. heart multiple gunshots nearby at 1:05 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to 3216 Seward St. and located two with gunshot wounds. Officers gave first aid to both victims and CPR to one.
Omaha Fire Department medics transported the victims, 24-year-old Jal Dak and 25-year-old Nyoun Joak, to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition.
Dak died from his injuries while Joak remains in the hospital.
