OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A suspicious male grabbed the arm of an adult female Monday afternoon at Papillion-La Vista South High School, a spokesperson of the school says.

Around 4 p.m., an adult female who is not an employee of the school was approached by the man. He grabbed her arm and said "excuse me, ma'm" before the woman pulled away, ran to her vehicle and drove off without further incident.

The woman was parked in the stadium home side parking near 108th St, a statement from the school says. The incident was not immediately reported to school officials or police.

Once the school became aware of the situation, they immediately contacted authorities to investigate the incident.

The male may have been driving a tan or dirty white sedan. He is described as being in his late teens or early 20's with short, dark hair.

Parents are asked to remind children of the importance of using safety precautions. Students are encouraged to walk in groups and immediately report any suspicious activity to school officials or police.

Starting Tuesday, there will be additional adult supervision and police presence at the school.

Anyone with more information is urged to contact the Papillion Police Investigative Unit at 402-597-2035.
