Thousands of THC products seized on I-80, two arrested

SEWARD, Neb. (KMTV) — A Seward County traffic stop along I-80 led to the arrest of three men and a seizure of thousands of THC products.

On Thursday, Sept. 5, a Seward County deputy stopped a silver Dodge minivan at approximately 3:30 p.m. on I-80 near mile marker 379.

The deputy was able to smell a strong scent of marijuana coming from the vehicle, a press release says.

Twenty pounds of marijuana, 2,397 vials of THC oil and 358 packages of THC edibles were found in the search.

Driver Dangelo Trejo, 20, and passenger Luis Trejo, 37, all of Zion, IL, were arrested and are being charged with possession of a Marijuana and THC with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana over one pound, possession of U.S. currency used to purchase drugs, and no drug tax stamp.

Police say the street value is approximated at $207,000.
