Two injured in overnight shootings

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Two were injured in separate shootings Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the area of 24th and Lake St at 7:38 p.m. Saturday for a shooting. Officers located a male victim, identified as 24-year-old Kevin Smith, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Smith was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center.

At this time, there is no suspect information.

Police responded to 4519 N. 36th Ave. at 2:52 a.m. Sunday for a shots fired call.

Officers located a female, 33-year-old Shanik Aigberomwan, with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her arm.

There is also no information regarding this suspect.
