WEEPING WATER, Neb. (KMTV) — Two juveniles were transported to UNMC after the driver lost control of his vehicle Wednesday evening and rolled several times before landing in a bean field in Weeping Water.

Authorities responded to a one-vehicle rollover injury accident on 120th St by McKelvie Rd at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigation revealed a red 2001 Nissan Xterra driven by a 16-year-old male was traveling north on 120th St when the driver lost control on a gravel road and rolled several times.

The driver eventually landed in a bean field on the east side of the road. He was ejected from the vehicle and transported to UNMC in Omaha by Weeping Water Rescue.

A female juvenile passenger who was wearing her seatbelt at the time was able to exit the vehicle and call in the accident at a nearby residence. She was also transported to UNMC for evaluation.

Alcohol is not a factor in the incident, police say. Investigation into the accident is complete.
