Central District and Three Rivers report new COVID-19 cases

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Central District Health Department (CDHD) and Three Rivers Public Health Department are reporting new coronavirus cases.

The CDHD, which serves Nebraska's coronavirus hotspot, is reporting an additional 45 confirmed cases and four additional deaths.

As of now, the CDHD's website is reporting 635 confirmed cases and 18 total deaths from coronavirus.

The Three Rivers Public Health Department is reporting two additional coronavirus cases.

One case is a Dodge County man in his 40s who investigators believe contracted the virus in the community. This is Dodge County's 19th case. The other case is a Washington County resident in his 60s who also is believed to have contracted the virus through the community.
