OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The coronavirus response is changing the way the City of Omaha is doing business.
The city council will meet today for the first time in more than a month. Council members will be practicing social distancing, so the meeting will look more like a video conference.
The public can only participate, but only by Zoom.
Agenda and materials are available online at https://cityclerk.cityofomaha.org/city-council/agendas.
The format of the meeting with a video conferencing component is being conducted in order to comply with social distancing guidelines due to the COVID-19 outbreak and intended to follow the authorization of Executive Order No. 20-03 issued by Governor Ricketts on March 17, 2020. Instructions for virtual participation via Zoom can be found on the City Clerk’s web page at www.cityofomaha.org
