OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha City Council will vote today on a measure aimed at making sure it gets financial help in paying for its coronavirus response.
The resolution asks the State of Nebraska and Douglas County to work with the city government to cover those costs.
It comes after Omaha lost out on funding from the federal aid bill because it's just short of the half million population required to get money directly.
Today's city council meeting will be more of a video conference. Those wishing to speak via Zoom need to notify the city clerk by noon.
Find more information about taking part in the meeting on the city clerk's website.
