DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- The Health Department reported 93 new cases of COVID-19, as received by midnight the previous day. This makes 13,450 cases in Douglas County since the outbreak began in March.
- The Health Department received no new death certificates during the past day related to this pandemic. The total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the county remains at 160.
- The county has confirmed 9,294 county residents have recovered from the illness. As of this morning, metro area hospitals had 287 medical and surgical beds available for a 79 percent occupancy rate. There were 71 inpatients diagnosed with COVID-19 and 24 additional persons of interest (generally waiting for test results). Twelve individuals who were confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19 were on ventilators.
NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES
- Staff member at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center tested positive for COVID-1`9
- Total number of staff diagnosed is 65
- 55 have recovered

- Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health showed 611 new positive cases and two additional deaths, raising the total to 1,112 deaths.
- Twelve counties have a positivity rate of 15% or higher. That’s the threshold Gov. Kim Reynolds has set for schools to request to go to online teaching.
