NEBRASKA

  • 6,438 total cases
  • 82 total deaths

ADAMS COUNTY

  • One death announced Tuesday

HALL COUNTY

  • 1,281
  • 2 deaths announced Tuesday

DOUGLAS COUNTY

  • 944

DAKOTA COUNTY

  • 9 new cases for a total of 1014 to date
  • One additional death for a total of three to date

CENTRAL DISTRICT HEALTH DEPARTMENT

  • 1,350 cases in health jurisdiction total, 39 total deaths
  • 2 additional deaths reported Tuesday
  • 15 cases in Merrick County, 0 deaths
  • 50 cases in Hamilton County, 8 deaths
  • 1,285 cases in Hall County, 31 deaths

NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES
A staff member of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services has tested positive for COVID-19. They are employed at the Nebraska State Penitentiary, but are currently self-isolating. Anyone who has had contact with the employee in the past 72 hours is instructed to self-isolate until cleared by a medical provider.

This is the fifth employee with the department to test positive for the virus. So far, the department says no inmates have tested positive for COVID-19.

LINCOLN
Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced that 45 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lincoln Tuesday morning, bringing the community total to 439.

  • 233 cases are community spread
  • 21 cases are travel-related
  • 31 cases are from direct contact
  • 146 cases have unknown origins
  • One case has been fatal

IOWA

  • 408 additional positive cases for a total of 10,111 positive cases
  • An additional 3,000 negative tests for a total of 50,458 negative tests to date
  • 19 deaths were also reported
  • 407 are currently hospitalized
  • 3,572 Iowans have recovered

The Iowa Department of Public Health provided the following information on the people who died:

  • Allamakee County, 1 older adult (61-80 years)
  • Black Hawk County, 1 middle-age adult (41-60 years), 1 older adult (61-80 years), 1 elderly adult (81+)
  • Dallas County, 1 older adult (61-80 years), 1 elderly adult (81+)
  • Jasper County, 1 elderly adult (81+)
  • Linn County, 1 middle-age adult (41-60 years), 5 older adults (61-80 years),
  • Polk County, 1 adult (18-40 years), 1 elderly adult (81+)
  • Tama County, 3 elderly adults (81+)
  • Woodbury County, 1 elderly adult (81+)

POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY

  • 3 new COVID-19 cases for a total of 62 cases
  • 26 individuals have recovered
  • 33 are self-isolating
  • 1 is hospitalized
  • 2 deaths total
