NEBRASKA
- 9,772 total cases
- 119 deaths
LINCOLN-LANCASTER COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- 51 COVID-19 cases confirmed Saturday for a total of 786 cases
DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- 123 additional cases confirmed for a total of 2,211
- 24 total deaths
- As of Friday, 490 medical surge beds were available and 127 individuals were hospitalized with COVID-19
- Of 374 available ventilators, 132 were in use, including 45 for confirmed COVID-19 patients
- 390 residents have recovered, according to the health department
NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS
- Inmate assigned to the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O) tested positive for COVID-19, Director Scott R. Frakes announced Saturday
- Inmate went to hospital for unrelated medical issues and was tested upon admission
- Third inmate to test positive at CCC-O
- Contact tracing being conducted
- Ten staff members within NDCS have tested positive for COVID-19, including one additional Nebraska State Penitentiary staff member announced Saturday
- Some staff have completed quarantine and have returned to work
IOWA
- 279 new cases for a total of 14,328 cases
- 10 additional deaths for a total of 346 deaths
- 6,927 recovering
- 387 hospitalized
POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
- 10 additional cases announced Saturday including 9 in Council Bluffs and one in Carson
- Two of the cases are children (0-18), two individuals are 18-40, four are 41-60 and two are 61-80
- 1,947 Pottawattamie County residents have been tested for COVID-19 with 159 total being positive
- 2 individuals are hospitalized, 86 are self-isolating, 68 have recovered, one moved out of state
- 2 deaths
- 53 cases are the result of community spread
MILLS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
- 3 new COVID-19 cases confirmed Saturday for a total of 12 cases
- 5 individuals have recovered
- 232 have been tested total
