OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Douglas County announced 13 more coronavirus cases on Thursday, as well as one additional death.
The new cases involve four men and nine women all between 25 and 89 years of age. Eight of those individuals had contact to a known case and one is related to travel while four remain under investigation. Douglas County now has seen 198 cases of coronavirus.
The death was a woman in her 60s with underlying health conditions, county health officials said. It marked the sixth coronavirus death in the county.
County officials urge people to stay home as much as possible and shop alone.
Overall, Nebraska has seen 567 coronavirus cases.
