OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Douglas County officials said on Friday that they received confirmation that five long term care residents and two staff members of the Douglas County Health Center have tested positive for COVID-19.

All five residents are being isolated in their rooms at the Health Center and are being monitored by staff. The two employees are in isolation at home. All are in stable condition.

Since March 29, the Health Center has had 18 positive COVID-19 cases. That includes 13 long term care residents and five employees.

County officials say employees at the Health Center are trained and required to wear N95 masks. They are also screened with temperature checks before starting their shifts.

Visitation at the Health Center has been suspended since March 10.
