POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa. (KMTV) — Pottawattamie County Public Health (PCPH) announced a fifth case of COVID-19 on Tuesday involving a Council Bluffs woman between 41-60 years old.
The case is travel related, according to the health department.
The woman developed symptoms March 23 and was tested March 25. She has been self-isolating with home with Public Health staff checking symptoms twice daily.
PCPH is conducting the contact investigation for the case and notifying individuals as necessary. They are considering the case to be low-risk to the public.
