POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa. (KMTV) — Pottawattamie County Public Health (PCPH) announced four new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total in the county to 18.
The new cases involve three men and one woman between 41 and 80 years old, according to PCPH.
All four of the individuals live in Council Bluffs and have pre-existing health conditions.
PCPH said none of the new cases had contact with an existing case of COVID-19 and testing occurred between April 12 and 14.
Two of the cases are hospitalized and two are isolating at home. The cases are under investigation.
According to PCPH, 11 people have recovered from coronavirus in the county.
