Heroes work here - that's what the sign reads placed outside of Bergan Mercy.
Sign Gypsies of Omaha put up the sign to thank all of the hospital employees. The sign will be up for a couple of days and then be placed at another medical facility in the metro area.
"I want them to understand they are cared for outside of their profession. If I can offer some kind of a support for them then I'm going to do it," says Kris Howery of Sign Gypsies of Omaha.
Howery says her colleagues around the country are also putting up similar signs to make sure healthcare workers know they're appreciated.
