OMAHA, NE — The Salvation Army is helping to bring some hope and joy to the community in these tough times.

The Kroc Center lit up Monday night in red, white and blue.

Trees were shining brightly. The Salvation Army says the lights serve as a symbol of solidarity and hope.

Heroes Holiday Lighting donated the lights and partnered with the Kroc Center to set them up.

The Salvation Army is encouraging others in the community to put up similar displays.
