DES MOINES, Iowa (KMTV) — On Wednesday, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and other officials held a coronavirus briefing.
Reynolds opened things up by announcing 50,000 Iowans have been tested through TestIowa and said more than 2,000 were tested Tuesday.
One of the sites was closed on Tuesday due to severe weather so some people were unable to be examined. Reynolds said those people should go to the test site when they can and present their QR code to get tested.
Since opening up testing to anyone who wants it, the governor said appointments have been filling up fast.
