DES MOINES, Iowa (KMTV) — On Monday, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and other officials held the state's daily coronavirus briefing.

Reynolds reported 534 new cases and four new deaths. Of those who died, all were more than 40 years of age.

Reynolds said a new testing facility will be opening in Sioux City and that the state should catch up on a backlog of tests today. People who registered at testiowa.com and have gone through the testing procedure should expect results in about 72 hours, Reynolds said.

The state is facing an additional outbreak at a long-term care facility. The facility is Accura Healthcare in Marshalltown.
