OMAHA, Neb. — As many local businesses continue to struggle throughout the coronavirus pandemic, one local company took it upon themselves to give back to first responders.

The employees of Renewal by Andersen gathered Tuesday to deliver donated food by local restaurants to police officers, firefighters and medical professionals.

"Hopefully let them know that the community has their back and we're all in it together," Renewal by Andersen manager Steve Dicken said.

They partnered with local and national restaurants including Stella's Bar and Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings and Schlotzsky's.

The company hopes they can continue this effort to help those on the front lines during this pandemic.
