GRETNA, Neb. (KMTV) - Nebraska Crossing is clarifying plans to do a soft opening on April 24.
The shopping center says the soft opening is for store employees only so they can begin the process of getting their stores ready for business.
Nebraska Crossing will not be open to the public at that time. The only store open for in-store business will be Uniform Destination so the medical community can get proper gear.
The shopping center says national and global brands who want to open to the public will be begin that process "on or after" April 24. The process could take at least a few weeks.
News of Nebraska Crossing planning a soft opening had generated backlash due to fears over coronavirus.
