ELKHORN, Neb. (KMTV) — Chapel Hill Pool in Elkhorn announced a possible COVID-19 exposure involving a child who was at the pool Monday.

In a Facebook post, the pool says the child was there yesterday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. with friends.

The family of the child learned later that someone they went on vacation with the previous week had tested positive for COVID-19.

"Our members went to Children's for a test. They received results and one of the children had a positive COVID-19 result," said Chapel Hill Pool.

The pool added that the child showed no symptoms, so had they not been informed by the people they went on vacation with, the family never would've known.

Chapel Hill Pool says they did an additional cleaning Tuesday morning to ensure safety for all swimmers.
