OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Huskers season may be on the line, as leaders of football conferences, including the Big Ten, are meeting to decide if they should call off the 2020 season due to the pandemic.

ESPN first reported what was called an "emergency" but a scheduled meeting.

The commissioners of those conferences will meet again Monday morning. According to CBS Sports, there is concern from the highest-ranking athletic voices in the conferences that playing college football or any fall sports is unlikely.

CBS Sports also reported that two Power 5 athletic directors deemed the cancellation of fall sports and the 2020 college football season 'inevitable.'

This is a developing story.
