OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Health Department reported 565 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, marking the highest number reported in one day since the pandemic began.
Friday's total tops Thursday's previous single-day high at 486 cases.
The total number of COVID-19 cases is 25,302 in Douglas County, according to the health department.
No new deaths have been reported related to COVID-19.
The number of deaths in the county related to the pandemic remains at 242.
A total of 16,189 residents have recovered.
