OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Public Schools board voted unanimously Monday evening to end the academic year a week early due to COVID-19.
The vote was unanimous, making the last day of school May 15.
Students will finish out the school year learning remotely.
Additionally, the school board voted to buy 2,000 iPads for students taking summer classes and would provide internet if a student doesn't have access at home.
