LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - A teammate at the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center in Kearney has tested positive for coronavirus, state health officials announced Thursday night.
The individual contacted the facility to make them aware of his symptoms and has not returned to work. A contact investigation is underway.
According to state health officials, the teammate has been off work for five days and will not return until a full recovery is documented by a medical professional.
The Department of Health and Human Services is working closely with the local county health department to determine next steps for screening staff and the youth at the program.
