OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Health Department announced 10 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday along with one additional death.
The death involved a man in his 60's with underlying health conditions, marking the seventh death in the county.
According to the health department, the new cases include five men and five women between 27 and 64 years old.
Of the new cases, six had contact with a known case, two were community-acquired and two remain under investigation.
The health department said none of the new cases are hospitalized.
Douglas County has seen 255 COVID-19 cases since the outbreak began.
Additionally, the health department said as of Monday evening, there were 538 medical surge beds available with 38 patients hospitalized.
Of the 402 available ventilators, 101 are in use, including 15 for COVID-19 patients.
