OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Health Department announced 20 additional COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the county total to 325.
The new cases involve 12 females and 8 males ranging in age from 12 to 63.
According to the health department, seven of the individuals had contact with a known case, five were community-acquired, two cases are travel-related and six cases are under investigation.
There aren't any known hospitalizations among these individuals.
The health department says local hospitals reported 592 medical surge beds were available and 44 individuals were hospitalized with COVID-19.
Additionally, of the 398 available ventilators, 106 were in use, including 15 for COVID-19 patients.
