Union Pacific donates over 6,000 masks to Nebraska Medicine

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — With much of the country still facing severe shortages of protection equipment for medical teams, area businesses and universities are find ways to help.

Union Pacific responded to a Nebraska Medicine request for help by looking at its supply of N-95 face masks that are used by its crews across the country.

The railroad found it could part with 6,600 masks, which can be sanitized and reused.

U.P delivered those masks to the hospital last Saturday.
