OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Family trips and dream vacations are looking a bit different for many this year. When the coronvirus wiped out an Iowa family's trip to Disney World, they got creative.
The Phipps family spent a year saving for the trip. They packed bags and had a day at the resort, a night at the spa, breakfast at Cinderella's royal table, improvised Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center rides and even fireworks.
Instead of ending the trip with a parade on Main Street, they held a parade on Pine Street.
The Phipps say they owe a big thank you to other family members and friends who dressed up as well.
