A Powerball player in Missouri Valley, Iowa was one number away from the jackpot, which has now risen to $470 million.
The ticket matched four of the first five numbers as well as the Powerball and was sold at the Petro Mart on Highway 30.
In Wednesday's Powerball drawing, Iowa had 19,000 players win at least $4.
The Powerball jackpot isn't even the largest one available. The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $970 million, which is the second-largest in history.
