1-7 day road closings/restrictions on Dodge, Ames, 192nd...

OMAHA, Ne — You may need to change your route home if you use Dodge, Ames, 192nd, 33rd or 108th Streets. The city's Public Works Department has announced several closings/restrictions on area roads taking between 1-7 days.

They are:

  • Beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., North 108th Avenue between Old Mill Road and West Dodge Frontage Road South will be restricted to one lane North bound for fiber optic installation in the outside curb lane by HMW Construction and will be in effect for seven (7) days.
  • Beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., Ames Avenue will be restricted to one lane West bound at North 50th Street for fiber optic repair in the outside curb lane by Telecom and will be in effect for one (1) day.
  • Beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., the intersection of North 62nd Street and Dodge Street will have various lane restrictions for utility work by MUD and will be in effect for one (1) month.
  • Beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., North 33rd Street between Davenport Street and Dodge Street will be restricted South bound for street repair in the West section by City of Omaha Street Maintenance and will be in effect for three (3) days.
  • Beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., South 192nd Street will have North bound traffic shifted to the center lane at Shadow Ridge Drive for street repair in the East section by City of Omaha Street Maintenance and will be in effect for two (2) days.
