Authorities say one person was killed in a crash in Sarpy County Wednesday morning.
It happened around 7:15 a.m. on 36th Street, where Cedar Island Road meets it.
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says a Chevy Cobalt was heading south on 36th Street when it lost control and collided with a BMW heading the opposite direction.
A man sitting in the passenger seat of the Cobalt was killed. The driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the BMW was taken to the hospital to be checked out, deputies said.
