$1 million bond set for 14-year-old charged with second-degree murder

Tyon Wells, the 14-year-old charged with second-degree murder in the death of17-year-old Zachary Parker, had his bond set at $1 million Thursday afternoon. Wells was also charged with second-degree assault with a weapon. 

According to authorities, Parker and another 17-year-old teen injured in the incident were in a car near 25th and Crown Point to purchase marijuana when Wells allegedly pulled a gun and made threats before shooting both of them. 

There was a 15-year-old with Wells at the time. He was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
