A teenage boy is recovering after being shot near 44th Avenue and Ellison Thursday morning.
The shooting happened around 8 a.m. and investigators say an unknown person in a car was the one who fired the shots that hit 17-year-old Donovan Richardson.
He was taken to Nebraska Medicine and is expected to recover.
