OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A 19-year-old sustained life-threatening injuries after a shooting Thursday evening near 33rd and Weber, according to Omaha Police.
UPDATE: OPD now investigating Thursday shooting as a homicide
Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a vehicle off the roadway.
The driver, 19-year-old Nomi Herrera, was found in the driver's seat suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Herrera was transported to UNMC for treatment, according to Omaha Police.
The Homicide Unit is investigating.
