2 juveniles arrested for attempted carjacking in Council Bluffs

Council Bluffs Police say two juveniles are in custody after an attempted car jacking Wednesday night. 

CB Police says a driver called 911 after they were approached by a group of men at the intersection of 30th street and Third Avenue.

The driver told police one of the suspects opened the driver's side door when the car stopped at the intersection.

The man showed a gun and demanded they get out of the car.

 Police found two people matching the description in the area, they were arrested and an air soft pistol was recovered.

  Police say both suspects are juveniles.

After being identified both Juveniles were placed at the Juvenile Detention Center charged with Robbery 3rd Degree and Theft 1st Degree.
