Healthy Kids Day is Sunday April 23, 2017 from 11:00am-2pm at Stinson Park. This free day is open to all families in the greater Omaha community for a day full of fun and games.
Healthy Kids Day is the YMCA’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. The YMCA of Greater Omaha’s Healthy Kids Day celebrates kids’ health and continues to teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play, and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity.
The YMCA partners with the National Safety Council Nebraska for the event. The mission of NSCN is to promote safety and health by providing programs, resources, and education to reduce both the personal and economic loss associated with injuries, accidents, and health hazards.
KMTV 3 News Now is the proud sponsor of the event.
You can register for Healthy Kids Day here http://metroymca.org/programs/family/healthy-kids-day/. The first 1500 kids will receive a free goodie bag. Bike helmets will be given away while supplies last.
