Lancaster County deputies made a large marijuana bust on Interstate 80 on Wednesday.
A deputy saw the driver of a conversion van commit several traffic violations on eastbound I-80 around 10:30 a.m. And pulled the van over near Northwest 48th and West O Street. When speaking to the driver, the deputy smelled marijuana in the van. A search uncovered approximately 280 pounds of pot and more than $60,000 in cash hidden throughout the van. The marijuana has an estimated street value of $900,000.
58 year old Mao Vang and 54 year old Tseng Yang of St. Paul, Minnesota were arrested for possession with intent to deliver.
